   Requirements 		Level 1 of the scheme requires companies to:
  • Have an environmental policy
  • Get senior management commitment
  • Have a general level of environmental awareness, and
  • Commit an employee as an 'environmental champion'
  • Meet key pieces of environmental legislation
  • Illustrate that they have taken steps to minimise their overall environmental impact.
